While the act of writing is often a solitary experience, you do not have to write your book alone.

Being a part of something bigger, a collective of like-hearted people who understand the writerly struggle, is so important. They understand the investment required – the time, the energy, the money, the mental drain – to be on this book writing journey.

Life is easier when one finds community, just as art is more fulfilling when shared with others. The act of sharing your writing with anyone can be scary, inviting the very judgment and rejection you fear.

But the thing is, judgement and feedback are not the same thing (and we’ll talk about it in more detail later).

Your writing community is your support crew. The people who will feed you when you’re in the depths of writing, who will keep you accountable, who will keep you going when it feels too hard - and don’t be afraid (or too proud) to ask them for help!!!!!!

I welcome you to join my writing community. Every Wednesday night I host a virtual writing group via Zoom.

Write Stuff is a space for us to commit to our writing practice and all forms of writing are welcome!

Together, we shall write quietly in each other’s virtual presence.

No rules. No distractions. Just write stuff!

Every Wednesday from 7.30-8.30 via Zoom.
